We hire tutors from the poorest countries in the hemisphere. You get great prices while bringing life changing work to people who need it. You can get steady language tutoring for less than the cost of your cable bill.
My schedule is crazy, how can I ever fit this in?
Because you can arrange the time that works around your classes or job. During a lunch break, dead time between classes or even while you're waiting to pick up a child.
How can low prices help me learn more than I would in higher priced sessions?
Learning a language is like learning music. It takes persistent effort over a long period of time. If finances force you to quit, you won't learn very much. Choosing a solution you can stick with over the long haul is critical to maximizing your learning.

How does the technology work?
You will use Skype (or Zoom or similar software). Skype is free to install and use. You can use a laptop, tablet, or smart phone. You can conduct your lessons from anywhere you have internet access, even while you are traveling. We are available by phone to resolve any problems and ensure your success.
I'm not good at technology. Is there help for me?
Sure, we are here to make sure any problems you encounter are resolved so you can focus on your language learning.
Can I chose which days I will study?
Yes, schedule permitting, except for weeks when there is a holiday, see next topic.
What about holidays?
Most holidays occur on Monday or Friday. We offer a maximum of 4 study days per week so classes can be shuffled on holiday weeks when possible to avoid missing a day. Otherwise make-up days will be provided.
What if my professor misses a day?
If your professor misses a day make-up days will be provided or you will receive a refund if your professor can't offer a make up day.
What if I have to miss a day?
Unfortunately, if you miss we can't give you a refund since the professor's time is blocked out for you exclusively. The prof “might” be able to offer you a make up day. But: Our prices are so good that you could miss LOTS of days and still come out WAY ahead!
What will my lessons consist of?
It's up to you. The following options and more are possible:

Your professor will assess your skills, direct your sessions and assign homework.

If you are using other coursework, your professor can support your curriculum.

You can select an area of specialization and the professor can train you in that area.

You can attempt to translate stories in real time, with the tutor to guide and correct you.

You can watch Spanish movies with your professor there to explain and discuss.

I don't have time for classes during certain times like Christmas holidays, Summer, etc. ?
Let us know and we will adjust your billing accordingly. It only costs $3 to adjust your billing.
How long will it take me to learn Spanish?
Learning a language is something like learning music. A big (but interesting!) open ended undertaking. This is why it's important to have an affordable option with a teacher who can encourage and guide you during an extended period of time. In the end, our professor became a friend and ally in the long and fascinating journey that learning a second language entails.
